In order to consolidate its historic position as leader in VSDA in France, CanalPlay has chosen Hopscotch PR to support its communication strategy with influencers.
A Community Management measure and an events and communication programme dedicated to influencers have capitalised on various news items: the CanalPlay Kids application, CanalPlay’s back-toschool conference, a launch of digital series and broadcasting of HBO series.
In particular, Hopscotch PR set up an original device to promote the broadcasting of the cult series «Twin Peaks»: a «real fake» log was sent to influencers as a teaser, paying homage to the «The Log Lady» from the series. A surprise for those who were not familiar with the series and an obvious tribute for others.
The « Twin Peaks Log» campaign went viral. More than 1,100 items of feedback on the internet and social networks. Campaign contributes to a 66% growth in subscribers to CanalPlay in 2014.
